At the helm of Eddy Enterprises, is the dynamic team of Michael and Mary Eddy. As a young man, Michael Eddy earned his way learning at his Father’s side in his business which provided painting and wall covering services.   During these years, Michael met and married Mary, having found a true partner who would share his dreams and passions.  Eventually, Michael left his father’s business to serve his country and during his tour of duty in the Army, he gained valuable skills in heavy equipment operation. Returning home, Michael, with Mary at his side, spent several years operating a successful painting and wall covering business of their own.  As their reputation for reliable service and exceptional work grew, and each completed project yielded referrals from customers, they found themselves adding more and more construction services to accommodate each new clients personalized needs.

When Michael and Mary’s daughter Aaron, married Thomas Beadnell, he joined the family and the family business.  Thomas brings a natural talent in art and his own passion for rustic craftsmanship. For more than 15 years now, Tom has added to his gifting by working alongside Michael, learning techniques and sharing in the vision that drives Eddy Enterprises to offer their clients nothing less than exceptional craftsmanship and unmatched customer service experience.

Eddy Enterprises offers a wide range of construction styles.  As skilled craftsmen, they are artists who create beautiful custom log homes, however, their talent and skill can transform any building method, from classic stick frame to contemporary designs, manufactured log packages to natural log styles and on to include Bill Lake Modular and panelized construction, into a customized home that reflects the style and vision of the family within.  As experienced contractors, they are skilled at making renovations, additions and updates to an existing home that improve quality of life and increase the overall value.

A big thank you to Mike Eddy and Crew at Mike Eddy Construction for our new building! As service and parts director at Krystal Chrysler Jeep Dodge, when I needed a new 3 bay garage for expansion, I did my research. I have several customers who are in the construction business, and when I called them and informed them of what I wanted to build they all told me the same thing. "Call Mike Eddy" am I glad I took all their advice. Mike did everything and more than he told me he would do. He showed up every day, on time, and he made sure to find me and let me know what he was doing today, tomorrow, the next day and the day after that. He did this every day after day. I was keep in the loop every step of the way. When the owner of our facility would call and ask me how things are going, I was able to tell him exactly where we were with our construction, but also where we would be tomorrow and next week. Our building was done on time, on budget and better than I ever thought ! If you want quality work, on time and better than expected, take my advice do what I did. "Call Mike Eddy"

We hit the Jackpot when we hired Eddy Enterprises to help us restore our log cabin in Bolton Landing, NY. It has been more than a pleasure working with Mike, Mary and his creative, family and team – all artisans in their own right. We tend to be very particular about our aesthetic surroundings. No detail was too small to discuss with Mike. He was professional, thoughtful and a problem solver every step of the way. No surface has been untouched in our little "cream puff" of a cabin. Starting from the chinking of the inside and outside to the twig railings that now adorn our home, attention to every detail was attended to. Mike helped us to optimize our space, both inside and outside – making every available space enjoyable. In addition to the fine craftsmanship and service Eddy Enterprises provided, Mike also helped us as a liaison between "all the powers that be" in obtaining the appropriate approvals necessary to build in a timely way. We would highly recommend Eddy Enterprises to anyone who wants a job well done by a talented, honest team. We are grateful that we found Mike and his team and that during the process of making our Lake George home unique and beautiful, we made some new friends. Feel free to contact us for a recommendation any time!

When one talks about the Mike Eddy Team, it is difficult to know where to start. Three generations of our family have deep respect for ADKCustom Builders, not only for building from scratch, but rebuilding after storms and being able to add onto very old buildings that would make one think nothing had occurred. Our Summer cabins are on an approx. 1 1/2 mile stretch of dirt road that gave out within the past couple of years, due to storms that broke a beaver dam very far up the mountain. This disastrous situation happened twice and both times the Eddy team came and worked hard moving large boulders and trees that blocked our passage and rerouting the stream where necessary.

During one of the storms, a large maple tree came down on our cabin smashing through the roof and damaging the upper part of our 1857 dwelling. Again the Eddy team showed up and worked for hours removing the tree, after which the men rebuilt the sleeping quarters. Our third situation was repairing our dam that was about to break and flood our neighbors below. Mike brought in truck after truck of sand to fill bags to hold back the water.

This past year the Eddy team rebuilt and modernized a 1920's one-room building and connected it to a storage room/garage of the same vintage. The remarkable part of the construction was that several of the original architecture were worked into the new decor. Now we have a bathroom (instead of outhouse), shower, kitchen and other amenities that allow us to enjoy the deep Adirondack countryside. To the Eddy Team, thank you from the W. Moeller family, for your excellent craftsmanship and ability to rebuild what Mother Nature tore apart.

Michael Eddy is a pleasure to do business with. The building of our new home was a complex project, and Michael thoroughly explained every aspect with us, kept us informed every step of the way, and offered creative cost-effective solutions to meet our needs. His crew was reliable, polite, and never left a mess. Whenever we had a question or concern, Michael and his wife Mary responded promptly and always followed up.

If you are looking to work with a reliable, hard-working, and skilled contractor, we would recommend Michael Eddy.

Mike Eddy took our dream of living in an authentic Adirondack high-quality log home and transformed it into reality. Our home is not only a well-built structure, but a work of art. The craftsmanship is top-notch and the beams, railings and other decorative touches add to the rustic atmosphere. We have a one-of-a-kind catwalk crossing over our kitchen! From start to finish, Mike kept us updated, instilled confidence, and handled every detail and request with calm efficiency. The quality of the work is absolutely unmatched.

My name is Jerry Quintal and I am the owner of Oscar's Smokehouse in Warrensburg, New York. During the rebuild of our store after a devastating fire in 2009 we contracted with Mike Eddy and Tom Beadnell of Eddy Enterprises. The custom woodwork that they created in our establishment is beautiful. They carved 100 year old cedar trees with chain saws to cover the structured steel beams, placed knotty pine on all of our walls, and created display cases for various items that really draw our customer's attention. They also carved gorgeous wood signs for our rest rooms. All of the stonework on the front of our building was also meticulously placed by Tom. He took charred 100 year old cooler doors from our old building and refinished them, making them look better than ever. Their work is amazing and I would recommend their company to do work anytime for anyone. They are a great family owned company with years of experience.

Family Camp in Warrensburg, NY

Mike rebuilt our family camp twelve years ago, and we could not be happier with the results. What has impressed me most is the workmanship and attention to detail. He understood our desire to rebuild in the image of the old place and made it happen on time and on budget. The results exceeded our expectations in every way. Over the years we have made some minor enhancements together, but we have not had a single problem with the original construction. Every time we settle back into our Adirondack home, we are grateful for our decision to rebuild with Mike.

Farm in Thurman, NY

When we first bought the farm in Thurman, we contracted with as many local businesses as we could to keep the work in the town. Mike Eddy came when he said he would and came in below cost. The story doesn't stop there. After the heavy rains and wash outs Saturday May 28th, Mike came over on Sunday, to let my husband know that he would be first on the list for repair of our washed out dam and work road. He showed up Sunday afternoon with the first load of fill, had the work road passable by Monday morning. Which was important as we had 200 chicks that needed feed and water. In less than a week the work road and dam were not only repaired but better than they were before. Professional, prompt, and a super neighbor, no one else will ever do our heavy construction.
